Meet the Otto family—five humans crammed into various sized spaces and somehow still speaking to each other! We're Stephan and Megan, two millennials who thought we had this parenting thing figured out until we decided to add wheels to our chaos. Our three boys keep us on our toes whether we're at home in rural Northern Indiana or parked at a campground 500 miles away wondering why we thought this was a good idea.
Here's the thing: we're not your typical RV family with matching outfits and color-coordinated everything. Stephan went from tent-camping skeptic to fifth-wheel research obsessive (seriously, the man found spreadsheets to use
). Megan traded her childhood "roughing it" tent memories for the luxury of indoor plumbing and climate control—no regrets there! We're the family that learns by doing, makes mistakes publicly, and somehow turns our disasters into the best stories.
We started documenting our adventures because, let's be honest, someone needs to tell the real story of RV life with kids.
